Ghan House is a beautifully restored 18th Century country house just a tree’s length away from the popular Medieval Heritage Town of Carlingford.  Log fires, candlelit dinners and Georgian ambience make Ghan House the unique place for your romantic evening out or weekend away. The restaurant, usually in the splendid Drawing Room overlooking Carlingford Lough, uses the best of local, Irish produce and herbs & vegetables from their private gardens.   The restaurant has maintained 2 AA rosettes for 6 years & head chef Stephane Le Sourne and his kitchen team have created exciting menus with innovative and creative dishes.  Dining is at a leisurely pace – you have your table for the whole evening.  The 4* bedrooms all have sea or mountain views and they have been recommended as ‘One of ‘Best 100 places to stay in Ireland’ every year since 1998 in John McKenna’s Guide to Ireland.
